Our Story...
Tubbs has a rich history prior to being a restaurant, which can still be seen around the interior.
Tubbs has been a restaurant in Colne for nearly 10 years, and has become a staple in the heart of the town. In March of 2025, a new era for Tubbs began. New owners, Oliver and Adam, went from being long term manager and head chef to taking hold of the reigns with fresh ideas and a modern approach.
After an unbelievably busy first 6 months, a full refurb in September of 2025 made their vision a reality. Oliver and Adam were able to put their own touch on an already lively restaurant and bar.

If you have ever been to Tubbs before you have certainly seen Oliver. With over fifteen years of front of house experience, ten years of which being at Tubbs.
His ambition has always been to have his own restaurant and now the chance has come and he has grabbed it with both hands.
Fully committed to delivering the best experience for each and every person who steps through the door, Oliver prides himself on going above and beyond for everyone.
With a great team to accompany him, a long and successful future at Tubbs is in full flow.
Calling Oliver a family man would be an understatement, his wife and girls are at the forefront and the reason he does what he does.
Adam and the Kitchen...
Adam and his team in the kitchen take pride in delivering high quality dishes with an emphasis on using local produce. Resulting in food that both looks and tastes delightful.
Adam has a plethora of experience in the food industry. Starting as a kitchen porter at Crow Wood when he was 16. He worked his way up the ladder and by the time he was 21 he was the head chef at the Lounge. Adam then became head chef at Tubbs and for seven years has ran the kitchen to the highest standard. Now, in the new era of Tubbs he is executive chef/owner and is ready to take it up a notch.
